The Craig Houghton Family

We are a homeschooling family in central Ontario, Canada, where we raise our nine beautiful blessings from our LORD.  Craig has been a police officer for over 21 years and often has the opportunity in his work to present the gospel of Christ to those who are perishing for lack of any hope.

Michelle is a keeper-at-home and homeschools our children.  She is a virtuous woman and studies to show herself approved unto God.  Our eldest son is the first to graduate from home-based learning and is now in his first year at Word of Life Bible Institute.  Our youngest two boys are both preschool age so are enjoyed and loved by their five older sisters and two older brothers.  Our children range from 2-18 years and we are looking to the LORD to wait upon Him for more children should He bless us again.

We attend an evangelical Baptist church and are actively involved in the homeschool community.  We hope our family is a visible testimony to the faith and trust we place in our LORD to meet all our needs - emotionally, materially, and spiritually. To God be all the glory!

Family UNplanning is Craig's first book, a result of some two years of editing and publishing.  It was a work that our LORD laid on his heart to bring encouragement and a challenge to Christians to seriously study the Scriptures.
